AI SEO for businesses that want to be recommended
When your customer asks AI who to hire, does it say your name?
I'm Nikhil Batra. I make businesses understandable, trusted and worth citing, so ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers name them instead of a competitor. And I measure it in calls and enquiries, not screenshots.
A client of mine is named by all five, for the same question:
AI SEO Case Study: Named by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI
Raipur Wedding Photography is a wedding photography studio that started building its online presence in 2026. Competing studios hold 177, 332 and 457 Google reviews. This one has fewer than 30. When couples ask an AI assistant who the best wedding photographers in Raipur are, it's named on every major platform, and on Google's AI answers it's often named first.
One case, not a guarantee. But it's the approach working from a standing start, in a competitive local market, against businesses with ten times the reviews.
Get a free AI SEO auditI'm Nikhil Batra, an independent SEO consultant from Bilaspur, India. My AI SEO services help businesses become easier for ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews to understand, trust and recommend, while still ranking in traditional search engines like Google.
Users now ask AI assistants the questions they used to type into Google, like "Who's the best wedding photographer in Raipur?" When an AI system answers, it names a few businesses and skips the rest. My job is to give it good reason to mention yours.
I can't guarantee that ChatGPT will recommend you, and nobody honestly can. What I do is improve the things that make a company understandable, visible, authoritative and worth citing, then measure whether that work brings in calls and enquiries.
My AI SEO services combine traditional search optimization with the extra work that AI-driven search needs. Every engagement is built from the same core services, weighted to fit your business and your market:
Some call this generative engine optimization (GEO). I call it AI SEO, because it extends good SEO rather than replacing it.
In 2025 I started testing how ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity choose which businesses to name. My services are shaped by what that testing showed.
AI platforms build answers from information they can find and cross-check. Some rely on live web results, some on training data, and many on both. When users ask for a recommendation, the AI looks for options that are clearly defined, relevant and mentioned by sources it trusts. A thin website, inconsistent details and no outside mentions give it very little information to work with.
So my AI SEO process asks three questions about your business:
The clearest result so far is Raipur Wedding Photography. They only started building their online presence in 2026. Today they rank at the top of Google Maps in Raipur, appear on page one of Google, and are named by ChatGPT and Perplexity when couples ask who to hire. It's one case, but it shows the approach working from a standing start.
An entity is a clearly defined thing, such as a person, a place, a company or an organization, that search engines and AI models can recognize and connect to facts. Entity optimization is the work of turning your business into one of those well-defined entities.
In practice, I make sure your business name, address, phone number, services, service area and founder information are consistent across your website, Google Business Profile, directories and social profiles. When the same information appears everywhere, AI can connect it with confidence. When it conflicts, a hesitant AI usually recommends another company.
I also make your service pages explicit. Instead of vague lines like "solutions for every need," each page states what the service is, who it's for, where you offer it and how it's priced. Plain, specific content is exactly what an AI system can lift into an answer.
Structured data is code that labels the information on your site in a format machines read easily. I add and validate Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, Person, FAQ and Review schema where it genuinely fits, and I test it with schema validators before it goes live. Clear organization data tells AI search which organization is behind the website, who runs it and what services it sells. Schema doesn't force a recommendation, but it removes guesswork.
Technical SEO is the foundation everything else depends on. If crawlers can't reach or read your pages, your content doesn't exist to them.
My technical work covers crawlability, indexing, site speed, mobile usability, internal linking and clean HTML, so your content and business information load reliably. I check that robots.txt isn't accidentally blocking the crawlers ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google use, and I use tools like Google Search Console and PageSpeed Insights to fix what actually affects visibility.
This matters more as AI agents start browsing the web on behalf of users, comparing options and completing bookings. Agents that hit a slow or confusing site simply move on.
AI assistants are built to answer questions, so the content that gets cited is usually content that answers a real question clearly.
I start content planning by collecting the questions your buyers ask: pricing, comparisons, process, timelines and "who's best near me." Then I build or rewrite content so each section answers one question in plain language, key point first, supporting information below. Every section of content should make sense even if AI quotes it alone.
This is different from content written only to hit a keyword. Buyer-question content is written for someone about to make a decision, the person you most want to reach. It supports your rankings and gives AI accurate, quotable information about your services.
What you say about yourself is only part of the picture. AI looks for confirmation from other sources before recommending anyone with confidence.
My authority services build that confirmation through industry listings, earned mentions on trusted websites, digital PR in publications your market reads, review strategy and link building. Link building is where I started in SEO in 2022, and the lesson still holds: one mention from a relevant, trusted site beats a pile of weak ones.
I focus on citation-worthiness: presence on the sources that AI and Google already treat as reliable in your industry, not volume for its own sake.
Before I change anything, I want to know who AI already recommends in your market, and why.
I run your customers' questions through ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, then record which businesses appear, which sources get cited and what those competitors have that you don't. Sometimes it's a stronger Google Business Profile, sometimes a comparison page or a news mention. That analysis becomes a plan built on evidence, not guesses.
AI SEO doesn't replace traditional SEO. Many AI assistants pull live results from search engines, so content that ranks well is more likely to be found and cited.
That's why my services still include the fundamentals I've worked on since 2022: on-page SEO, keyword research, local SEO, Google Business Profile optimization and link building. Since I started on Fiverr, I've completed 975+ orders with a 5.0 rating for clients in the USA, South Korea, China, Norway and many other countries. That work is the base my AI SEO services are built on.
For local businesses in particular, the Google Maps top 3 and AI recommendations often reinforce each other. A strong, well-reviewed local presence is one of the clearest signals AI can find.
A ranking or an AI mention only matters if it brings customers. I measure my work in two layers.
I track a fixed set of buyer questions across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews on a regular schedule, and record whether your business appears, how it's described and which sources are cited. AI answers change between conversations, so I look for patterns over time, not single screenshots. I combine that with rankings and Maps data from Semrush, Google Search Console and GMB Radar.
Visibility is a leading indicator, not the goal. Using Google Analytics, Google Business Profile insights and your lead records, I track calls, form enquiries and direction requests, and report the information plainly: what's moving and what isn't. All my work is visible to you.
What this costs, and why I quote per project
There's no fixed price for AI SEO, because there's no fixed job. A single-location service business in a quiet market and a national brand in a crowded one need completely different amounts of work. Any consultant quoting you before seeing your site is either guessing or selling a package that ignores what you actually need.

How many businesses compete for the same recommendation, how strong they already are in AI answers, and how established they are in your industry's trusted sources.
Where you're starting
Whether your site is technically sound, whether your business information is consistent everywhere, how much content already exists and whether anything outside your own website mentions you.
Scope and speed
Whether you need entity and technical work only, or content and authority building too, and how quickly you want to get there.
How I quote
Free audit.
I look at your website, your business information and how AI tools currently describe you. No charge, no obligation.
A scoped plan.
You get a written plan with what I'd do, in what order, what's realistic for your market and how long it should take.
One price.
A single monthly or project figure, with everything it covers written down. No add-ons appearing later.
My aim is for the work to be worth several times what it costs you. If I don't think I can do that for your business, I'll tell you at the audit stage rather than take the work.
Get a custom quoteI'm an independent SEO consultant, not an SEO agency. You work directly with me, from the first audit onward, not with a company account manager. I work from Bilaspur, India, with clients worldwide, and I share tutorials on YouTube about ranking in Google Maps and getting recommended by AI.
I work best with local businesses, service providers and companies selling commercial services that depend on being found when customers compare options. Whether you offer home services, professional services or other commercial services, my approach to marketing stays the same: honest timelines, visible work and results measured in revenue. AI SEO sits alongside your other marketing, it doesn't replace it.
I won't promise guaranteed placement in ChatGPT, a #1 spot in Perplexity or a fixed number of AI mentions. These systems change constantly, and anyone guaranteeing AI rankings is guessing. What I do promise is transparent work on the factors that make a business understandable, visible, authoritative and worth recommending, plus honest reporting on whether it's bringing you customers.
